Clear Vision with Scleral Lenses

If you’ve had difficulty wearing contact lenses in the past, scleral lenses may be your answer!

Scleral lenses are larger diameter gas permeable (GP) lenses. Rather than only covering a portion of your cornea, like traditional lenses, scleral lenses cover the entire corneal surface, resting on the white of your eye. Their larger size helps to reduce irritation and they are less likely to accidentally dislodge from your eye.

Learn more about scleral lenses and how they may benefit your eyes at Bella Vision.

Are You a Good Candidate
for Scleral Lenses?

Anyone can wear scleral lenses! However, there are a few conditions they may be particularly helpful with, such as irregular corneas, hard-to-fit eyes, and dry eyes.

Contact us and schedule an appointment to see if scleral lenses are a good fit for you.

Benefits of Scleral Lenses

Compared to traditional GP lenses, the benefits of scleral lenses include:

  • Sharper vision
  • Greater durability
  • Easier handling
  • Less risk of complications
  • Greater stability on the eye

We’re Here to Help

Scleral lenses are custom-made to your eye for the best possible fit and comfort. Talk to the team at Bella Vision to discover if scleral lenses are the contact lens answer you’ve been looking for.
